October 13, 2006 edition

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd. -- a Company-owned bottler in India -- will help rebuild a public middle school in Kashmir's Baramulla district that was destroyed by last year's earthquake.

Our Company is funding the construction of 12 classrooms and a computer education center. Construction will be monitored by the district's chief education officer.

Meanwhile, a project to augment an orphanage run by the People’s Education Trust in Baramulla is currently underway. We are funding the construction of an extension wing that will accommodate up to 40 additional children.
