Parents Television Council Gives The Coca-Cola Company Advertiser Seal Of Approval

Parents Television Council Advertiser Seal of ApprovalThe Parents Television Council (PTC) has given The Coca-Cola Company its Advertiser Seal of Approval for 2005-2006.

"We commend Coca-Cola for being a responsible advertiser," said Tim Winter, executive director, PTC. "By placing their advertisements on shows that are positive and not violent or sexually graphic, Coca-Cola is showing its respect for American families."

Each year, the PTC names the top 10 companies that support, through their television advertising, socially-responsible and family-friendly programming.

Founded in 1995, the PTC works with TV producers, broadcasters, networks and sponsors to help stem the flow of harmful and negative messages targeted to children. The grassroots organization also works with government officials to enforce broadcast decency standards.
